
VISIONEER EXPANDS U.S. SALES & SUPPORT COVERAGE
New Sales Territories Created in Northwest and South Central U.S.
Plus Key Support Manager Formerly with Fujitsu
PLEASANTON, Calif. - April 3, 2006 - Visioneer, Inc., a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced they have created two new sales territories and promoted Jack Jackson, former senior sales engineer at Visioneer to channel account representative for the new Northwest territory and Latin America. The position of territory manager for the south central region (Texas and neighboring states) is expected to be filled by May 1.

He is a welcome addition to our channel sales team and will help us penetrate numerous accounts that will benefit from his technical expertise and focus on customer satisfaction.”
Jackson moves into his new role after two years at Visioneer in roles of increasing responsibilities in technical support and field sales engineering. Jack holds an MBA from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA, and holds certifications from Kofax, CompTIA CDIA+, and most recently, ARM ECM Practitioner.
Visioneer has also recruited John Dexter to the position of sales engineering manager. John has spent the last 7 years at Fujitsu, most recently as one of their most senior sales engineers responsible for eastern region field sales support. John will provide field sales engineering support at Visioneer with the addition of more software responsibilities and share a strategic role in product development for the company. John holds numerous certifications including Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A+ and CDIA+, as well as Cisco CCNA.
