VISIONEER AWARDS TECH DATA“DISTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR”

Pleasanton, Calif., January 30, 2006 – Visioneer, Inc., a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced that Tech Data Corporation was named its Distributor of the Year for 2005.  Tech Data is a leading IT products distributor and has been selling Visioneer products since 1999.  The award was presented to Wendy Linsky, vice president, Peripherals, Supplies & Accessories Product Marketing at Tech Data during a celebration at Visioneer’s inaugural customer event, PartnerVision 2006 from January 25-27 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Tech Data was chosen for the highest scanner sales performance in the United States and grew their Visioneer business by 173 percent over the prior year.  This was achieved through exceptional growth in the 20/20 VAR program combined with a strong business partnership based upon marketing, support and world-class scanning solutions.
