VISIONEER ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL CERTIFICATION OF XEROX DOCUMATE 252 & 262 SCANNERS WITH aXs INFO’S SUITE OF DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

Pleasanton, Calif., December 7, 2005 – Visioneer, Inc., a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced that aXs Info, Inc., a leading provider of document and content, management solutions, has certified the Xerox DocuMate 252 & 262 scanners for use with their suite of products.

The Xerox DocuMate 252 and 262 are duplex sheetfed scanners for workgroup and distributed scanning environments that need to scan mixed sized documents. The Xerox DocuMate 252 processes 25ppm/50ipm and the DocuMate 262 processes 33ppm/66ipm at 200 dpi monochrome and grayscale.

They also have one of the smallest footprints of any automatic document feed scanner on the market. In 2004, the Xerox DocuMate 252 scanner won the AIIM E-DOC Magazine 2004 “Best of Show Award” for “best desktop scanner.” The DocuMate 262 scanner received the prestigious Editors’ Choice Award from PC Magazine in March 2005 and was given a rating of 4½ out of 5.

Both scanners also now include an updated TWAIN driver developed by JFL Peripherals.
