Visioneer is committed to conserving natural resources and minimizing our impact on the environment. We actively implement measures to increase efficiency, conserve energy and water, improve air quality, and reduce waste through our office building operations, waste management, and product development programs.

Energy Efficiency of Products
Visioneer and Xerox Scanners Meet & Exceed all regulatory requirements including Energy Star, RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances), and are manufactured under ISO certificates 9001-2000 and 14001.

Clean Delivery
All Visioneer products are packaged with 100% recyclable materials. Visioneer through its service partner community has also established an installation service offering to provide for the removal, re-use, recycling and environmentally sensitive disposal of packaging materials.

"Green" Facilities
The employees headquartered at Visioneer actively engage in recycling programs that divert up to 95 percent of the site's solid waste from landfills. Paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, cans, printer toner cartridges, and batteries are recycled. Similar programs are being deployed and expanded where possible throughout Visioneer's offices worldwide. Visioneer's facilities extend to our distribution partners where they have enacted Green policies including recycling and resource conservation.

Giving Back
In cooperation with the Arbor Day Foundation, Visioneer supported the Buy a Scanner, Plant a Tree Program from September 2009 through 2010. As a result, thousands of trees were planted in honor of our customers; adding to the Millions of trees already planted by this successful organization.
