SOUTHEAST REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Summary:

Account Manager is responsible for all sales functions within an assigned account base by selling Visioneer’s document imaging products and services through a two-tier distribution channel.  This person will interface with other members of the sales team, DMR’s, distribution, resellers, and ISV partners and end users to develop relationships to best leverage and enable Visioneer’s penetration across various market segment verticals. 

  • Responsible for increasing sales and market share within a 7 state region.
  • Travel to various sales events and meetings at various account locations.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and upgrading/upselling to existing customers. 
  • Execute a territory plan focused on driving unit/revenue growth of 20% YOY against current run rate business for the assigned account base.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships within the customer base providing routine communications about Visioneer’s products, programs, offers and promotions.
  • Manage, recruit, and train Resellers for Visioneer’s Global Partner Program
  • Manage, recruit, develop other VARs, DMR, and Xerox GIS Resellers
  • Prospect and close new business in key Vertical Markets for Scanners
    • Healthcare
    • Government
    • Transportation & Logistics


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5 years of prior outside sales experience in IT hardware, software or services preferred.
  • High understanding of indirect channel sales, DMR channel as well as End User Customer sales
  • Experience in Channel Management with knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated quota achievement and proven ability to sell in complex and dynamic situations.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to details, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and work remotely
  • Prefer candidate to live in the greater Atlanta or Greenville, SC area.
