Advance Exchange Plan
Available for all Visioneer devices, the Advance Exchange Plan can extend your warranty for up to five (5) years of continuous coverage. It includes priority phone response to our technical support and problem escalation team for an unlimited number of incidents, plus 24/7 web-based support. Should our technical support team determine a replacement is necessary, a replacement unit will be shipped in advance via overnight service, for next-business-day delivery.
The Advance Exchange Plan includes parts, labor and overnight shipping for verified device failures. Replacement equipment will be delivered next business day, provided the replacement order is received prior to 12:00PM local time in the contiguous United States and Canada. Otherwise, replacement equipment will be shipped the following business day.
The Advance Exchange Plan is available in the United States and Canada for all workgroup, departmental and mobile devices. The program begins on the date of product purchase and is inclusive of the Standard Manufacturer’s Warranty.
How it works
In the event of a device issue, Visioneer’s technical support team will assist in resolving the problem via telephone or other means. technical support may ask the customer to perform simple diagnostic tests and confirm any error code messages. Should technical support determine that the device requires replacement, a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number will be assigned and Advance Exchange Plan customers will have their replacement equipment delivered via next-business-day service. Customer will also be provided with a prepaid shipping label for the return of the defective equipment, ensuring no out-of-pocket cost for the exchange.
Defective equipment must be returned to Visioneer within ten (10) business days of the replacement’s delivery date. Failure to return the equipment will result in customer being billed for the replacement device and the currently advertised list price. The defective device must be returned using the box and packaging received with the replacement device. Shipping instructions will be provided to customer via email. All packages arriving to Visioneer must have a valid RMA number clearly printed on the packaging to ensure proper receipt and credit for the defective device.
All warranty sales are final. Warranties are non-refundable.
